You are dumb. Your facts are screwy. Go was a profit-making business that was sold by BA to management a year before the easyJet offer. It was generating GBP20 mil a year in profits and was taken out by easyJet for a huge sum because it was a big threat. Idiot.

Interesting to read your blog. I was trying to find out if Jetstar had a code of ethics or corporate governance as their owner Qantas does. Cannot find such a beast, online at least. According to Jetstar, via snailmail to me, they don't even mentioning that they should try to do the right thing by their customer and advise them of stuff they know about the new airport in Bangkok that their customers could not reasonably be expected to know, and they take no responsibility for anyone missing a flight due to the Thai Immigration people filling out every single Immig. form - with consequent delays - and due to there being no express lane for those who have filled it out beforehand.

In my case, they did not call me either by phone or over the pa system even though I was on the other side of a thin wall, just metres away from the aforesaid lengthy queues. But they say always do this if the passenger is not through to the boarding area in time. My two witnesses to the fact that they did not are of no value. But the outcome ("sorry, but no dice" is not a surprise seeing that they seem to have no code of ethics!

I am guessing that you work in the industry. Good luck to you, and I bet you wish you had a few more comments from time to time!
